Bar and Bat Mitzvah Gifts
Donated to FD Hope
If you
would like to help FD Hope in its fundraising, there are some easy
ways to do this that don't require a lot of extra work. One approach
followed by several families is to use a bar or bat mitzvah event.
Some have asked everyone invited make a donation in lieu of a gift.
Others have pledged a portion of their bar or bat mitzvah cash gifts
to FD Hope. Either is a wonderful way for families to raise
awareness of FD and use the good will of the event to help raise the
money that will save children's lives. Bar and bat mitzvah events
can help draw a lot of attention to FD and raise money for research
and treatment, as can any other life cycle celebration where people
customarily give gifts is equally suited to the task. Got a 50th
birthday party coming up? A 25th wedding anniversary? An open house
for the new home you just moved into? Any of these events, and
others, can become fun and easy ways to spread the word and help us
to raise funds. At the same time, you're performing an act of
tzedakah that will help the kids with FD. If you'd like more
information on how to participate, please
contact our office. We
can provide donation envelopes, and literature if you'd like to
distribute it at the event.
