FD Hope's Vision
"No child with FD sill suffer and die."
FD Hope's Mission
To expand and accelerate scientific research that will find a
cure and treatment options for FD.
Our mission is to find a cure and new treatment options for Familial
Dysautonomia by funding relevant research programs, to provide a
support network aimed at addressing the needs of patients and
families, and to promote Familial Dysautonomia education and
awareness programs in the medical community and the public. We
strive to ensure inclusivity of all families affected by Familial
Dysautonomia.
FD Hope accomplishes its mission by:

funding research that can lead to a cure and improve clinical
treatment options;

providing support for families and patients through efforts such
as our Spirit of Hope newsletter and the Focus on
Families insert, FD-Docs listserve (Internet list group for
doctor who care for individuals with FD), and providing
educational materials and resources.

promoting education and awareness through media, outreach
programs, and conferences/
